Welcome to the first installment of a new feature on the Top 50 Dance Chart website called "Sound Check". There are simply far too many quality releases in electronic music these days to relegate this site to just a weekly countdown made up of 50 tracks. There are endless dance, house, trance and techno releases that come out each week that don't ever make it on to the Top 50 Dance Chart simply because the pool of quality electronic music is much bigger than the 50 songs we showcase on the Top 50 Dance Chart each week. The dance music scene has never been bigger and that is how the idea of Sound Check started--to showcase the quality dance, house, trance and techno that may not find its way on the Top 50 Dance Chart due to the fact there is a higher number of quality dance/house/trance/techno than the Top 50 Dance Chart can hold. Sound Check will be a weekly feature on the website and will consist of a handful of weekly brand new dance, house, trance, and techno releases all available for download in MP3 format by clicking on the song artist/title which takes you to the direct download link for each track. This will be in addition to the already existing weekly Top 50 Dance Chart countdown and all of these releases have the potential to be future Top 50 Dance charting tracks!
